Welcome
Thank you for visiting Swing Soulstice, Atlanta's largest weekly swing dance venue! We play music that's great for Atlanta Lindy Hop, Charleston, East Coast Swing, and Soul. Want to know more? Check out our Schedule & Pricing and Lessons pages for the latest on what we offer!
Swing Soulstice is canceled tonight due to the weather.
While snowfall has been very light, the roads are already glistening
with the melted remains of what has already fallen. The crossover to
Swing Soulstice will not be held on November 26, in observance of Thanksgiving.
Join us again on Thursday, December 3, when we recover from our Turkey induced food coma.
Get into the spirit of the season, put on your costume and join us this week for a Halloween Bash!
The night starts off with a Collegiate Shag lesson and then the Halloween madness begins.
There will be a costume contest and prizes. Come to compete or to see all the creative ideas.
Collegiate Shag is a bouncy, exciting Swing Era dance and lots of fun!
This week, we'll be focusing on kicks.

Whether you're new to Swing dancing or a seasoned veteran, Shag is a
great 6-count dance that can be done on its own or as a compliment to
Lindy Hop or East Coast Swing.
We are two weeks into the Collegiate Shag class, but if you are a fast
learner, come and try it.

Swing Soulstice will have dancing and a lesson this Thursday, October 1.
Get a little taste of things to come at this week's Beginner Balboa class. Balboa and Collegiate Shag are kissing cousins and great ways to add variety to your fast dancing. Balboa is smoother, Shag is more spirited. Join F.G. and Russ to get your dose of dynamo!
Get your feet wet with Balboa this week and then come back the rest of October for enough Collegiate Shag to make you float away happy.
This isn't a class, it's a practice! Anyone is welcome to come! There is no class structure for this period.
Instead, instructors will be available to help students with any question they may have. Music will be played in the background to allow students to practice. This is a good time for all levels of dancers to make use of the mirrors and space!
Have dance questions for Robert and Rachel? Want to pick their brains? Need to practice your moves? Come on out!
This week's dance class covers 8-count Swing.
Robert and Rachel will be covering beginner Lindy Hop and partner Charleston at a level calibrated to the needs of the students.
